Breez is a non-custodial, lightning client and amongst other use cases, Breez functions as a Bitcoin wallet, a Lightning payment solution and for mobile developers, Breez SDK is available for integrating Lightning and Bitcoin payments into their mobile app. Breez also provides a podcast feature for creators and listeners to interact in a decentralized environment.

For companies, Breez delivers Lightning-as-a-Service (LaaS). This service can be applied as a payment system and includes a Point-of-Sale mode which allows for users to become a merchant and accept Lightning payments. The mode, however, is still in Beta and must be utilized at the user’s own risk.

Breez also provides Breez Cloud, powered by Blockstream’s Greenlight. Greenlight is a Lightning Network node assisting in providing low costs while granting uses full ownership of their own keys. As Breez Cloud nodes are located on the Greenlight servers, this means you can access your bitcoin from potentially any app and device. Another feature is the Podcast player mode where users can search and discover podcasts, stream payments, and send tips in real time. This caters to the podcast enthusiast with the desire to support their favorite creator using Bitcoin. Breez continues to show growth and appears to have other features and services lined up for the near future.
